Product Overview
The S11-M is a three-phase, fully sealed oil-immersed distribution transformer for urban and rural power networks. Its corrugated tank accommodates changes in oil volume without a separate conservator. The sealed design limits contact between the transformer oil and ambient air, helping reduce oil oxidation and insulation ageing.
Construction and Features
- Cold-rolled silicon-steel core designed to reduce no-load loss and no-load current.
- Oxygen-free copper conductors for both high- and low-voltage windings.
- Rating-dependent winding arrangements: the brochure describes a double-layer cylindrical low-voltage winding for ratings of 500 kVA and below, and double- or quadruple-helical arrangements for 630 kVA and above.
- Dyn11 connection described for the series.
- Fully sealed corrugated tank, with corrugation flexibility accommodating changes in oil volume.
- Low-loss, low-noise construction for distribution applications.
Operating Conditions
| Parameter | Specified Condition |
|---|---|
| Maximum ambient temperature | +40°C |
| Minimum ambient temperature | −25°C |
| Maximum daily average ambient temperature | +30°C |
| Maximum annual average ambient temperature | +20°C |
Model Designation
In S11-M, S identifies the three-phase design, 11 is the performance-level designation, and M identifies the fully sealed construction. The complete model designation includes the rated capacity in kVA and voltage class in kV.
Technical Data and Enquiries
For the required capacity and voltage ratio, request the model-specific technical schedule, including no-load loss, load loss, short-circuit impedance and dimensions.
Include the required capacity, primary and secondary voltages, frequency, quantity, installation conditions and project location when requesting a quotation.
Installation, inspection and maintenance must follow the supplied operation and maintenance manual and the requirements for the installation site.
